Beginning Project Management is a 35-hour, fully online, self-paced course from Arizona Online. Rather than studying project management concepts in isolation, you’ll select a real project, community event, business launch, marketing campaign, or workplace initiative, and build it out step by step, module by module.
Each lesson introduces a new project management concept and puts it to work immediately. You’ll compare project methodologies, define goals and scope, map stakeholders, build a schedule, plan for risk, and manage change, all while developing a single, cohesive project plan you can show off when it’s done.
This course is designed for learners at any stage: professionals who want to formalize skills they’re already using at work, career changers exploring project management for the first time, and anyone who wants a practical, low-risk way to build in-demand workforce skills.
A score of 80% or higher is required to pass each module quiz, each hands-on challenge, and the final certification exam. Pass the final exam to earn your Digital Badge of Completion from Arizona Online Professional Studies.
