NielsenIQ Retail Measurement Services (RMS) is the industry-standard platform for analyzing point-of-sale data and retail performance. This fully online, self-paced micro-credential teaches you how to use NIQ RMS tools and data to interpret sales trends, evaluate market share, assess distribution performance, optimize promotional strategy, and analyze pricing across retail channels.
Through six sequential modules and four hands-on challenges, you will practice the same analytical methods used by retail and CPG professionals worldwide. The course concludes with a final exam. A score of 80% or higher is required to earn your certification. All module quizzes, challenges, and the certification exam may be retaken an unlimited number of times, with your highest score retained.
This course is open to anyone. No application is required. A general understanding of retail business practices and basic Excel skills are expected. All course materials are included and delivered through the University of Arizona Online’s D2L Brightspace Community platform. No textbook is required.
Participants who successfully complete all modules, challenges, and the certification exam will receive a digital Certificate of Completion from Arizona Online. A printed certificate is available upon request. This micro-credential does not provide academic credit toward a degree program.
Cancellations: The office of Arizona Online Professional Studies reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to low enrollment, you will be notified at least one week prior to class start date and given the option of a full refund or, in some cases, transferring to a different class.
